Installing Jimny NZ Towbar

First, remove the rear bumper. 

In this kit, you'll find:

• 1 x horizontal tow bar
• 2 x vertical mounting bars
• 2 x tabs with nuts welded into them
• A bag of nuts and bolts
• 2 x D shackles

Within the kit is two steel tabs that have nuts in them, these slide into the chassis rail and the nuts align with two holes that are already in the chassis.

The vertical mounting bars can now be fitted, the vertical uprights go to the inside, not to the outside.  Don't tighten these 6 mounting bolts up just yet.

Now install the horizontal tow bar and tighten the bolts on the end. 

Once the horizontal tow bar is installed, you can tighten the 6 top nuts/bolts to the chassis.

Re-install the rear bumper, and you're done.
